Privacy policy
A short summary of what we collect, why, and your rights.
This is a summary in English. The Hebrew privacy policy is the binding version; if this summary and the Hebrew text conflict or are unclear, the Hebrew text prevails: מדיניות פרטיות.
Who is responsible
The controller of the database under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law is מיי דיי (MEIDAY). Contact: team@meidaysec.com.
What we collect
Only what you send with the quote request form: organization name, contact name and email (required), phone and notes (optional), your calculator choices if any, your consent to storing the details with the listed providers, and the site language you used. Browsing and the calculator send nothing.
Technical data: your IP address may be used for rate limiting and abuse protection. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address, browser details (User-Agent) and connection data to run Turnstile and protect the site. We do not write the form content to our server logs.
Why
To answer your request and prepare a written quote, and to keep bots out. No marketing email, and we never sell your data or pass it on for advertising. As planned, the site runs no marketing analytics and no ad pixels.
What is required
Organization, name, email and the consent checkbox are required, or we cannot reply. You are not legally obliged to give us any data. You can also email us directly at team@meidaysec.com.
Who receives it
Cloudflare (hosting, the site database that stores your request, protection, security monitoring and Turnstile), Google (our Gmail inbox, which holds the email replies you send us; for a new form request it gets only an alert without the request details) and Resend (sends our replies to you, which may quote your request). These providers may process and store data outside Israel (the request database itself is stored in Cloudflare’s servers in the European Union); the transfer is based on the consent you give with the form checkbox. Resend states that its account data, including email data and logs, is stored in the United States, and keeps its copy for about 30 days. Cloudflare also uses Turnstile check data to improve its bot detection, as an independent controller.
How long we keep it
We keep your request details for up to 12 months after our last contact, subject to retention duties that apply to us. After that we act to delete the data from systems we control. Requests are kept in the site database at Cloudflare, encrypted and accessible only to us, and deleted automatically when the period ends. Our providers may also keep traffic and security data.
Cookies and browser storage
As the site is planned, MEIDAY uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Your display preferences are kept in your browser’s localStorage and are not sent to us. On pages with the form, the Turnstile check loads from Cloudflare when the page opens. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, such as cf_clearance, when it challenges a request.
Your rights
As the law provides, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to team@meidaysec.com, in Hebrew, Arabic or English. You can also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
